Texas On Tap kicked off our 2011 calendar of events with a tasting of beers from the Summit Brewery, based out of Minnesota. Thank you to Amy for traveling in to spend the evening with our group, it was a great evening. View the pictures of the event. Check out our events page for details of the next planned event!

Texas On Tap showcased a regional beer tasting in February. We hand selected seven beers from the State of Colorado. This state produces more craft beer than any other state in the US, and we sampled some of their best! Each of the seven beers we sampled has won awards and various beer competitions. Not only were the beers fantastic, the meal was incredible! Thanks to the Rugby House for treating us to an awesome BBQ brisket. View the pictures of the event. Texas On Tap was very excited to showcase a portfolio of beers from the Brooklyn Brewery. This brewery is now one of the 40 largest brewers in the United States, and with the quality of their products I can see why. A big thank you to Nadine and Mike from Brooklyn Brewery for joining us and providing such an in-depth history of how the brewery was started and has grown. View the pictures of the event. Check out our events page for details of the next planned event!

Texas On Tap hosted an event showcasing Colorado's Breckenridge Brewery. Colorado produces more beer than any other state, and we sampled some of the best! Thank you to Heather Gubser for coming in to join us and share some of the history of the brewery. View the pictures of the event. Check out our events page for details of the next planned event!

Texas On Tap hosted an event showcasing a new brewer to the Texas market, the Maui Brewing Company. This was a great night as founder and owner Garrett Marrero joined the group to discuss the history and experiences of opening a brewery on the Hawaiian Islands. View the pictures of the event. Texas On Tap partnered with the Gingerman Pub in Plano's Shops at Legacy to host an evening of open sampling from a huge selection. Attendees were provided a large menu of beers and the sampling began. Thank you to the staff at the Gingerman for all their support and hospitality. Check out our events page for details of the next planned event!

In September the Texas On Tap group enjoyed an authentic German beer tasting featuring the beers from Spaten and Franziskaner. What a great night, we had a huge turnout. A big thanks to Alan Walling for providing the German music and one-liners for the night! Also, a big thank you to the Town of Addison for their joint involvement as we prepared to celebrate with their event as well. Check out our events page for details of the next planned event!

This event has been in the works for several months, and on October 26th the Ladies of Texas On Tap were able to relax and enjoy an evening of pampering. The Grand Spa in Addison was a fantastic place for the women to meet, enjoy a pedicure, and sample some great craft beers. If you missed it this time, make sure you attend next year. Pedicures, craft beer, and chocolate, who wouldn't love that? Check out our events page for details of the next planned event!

We look forward to sharing a drink with you at our next gathering.
