Texas On Tap kept it local in April with an evening sampling beers from a brewery here in Texas, the Real Ale Brewing Company. Not only were the beers fantastic, the meal was incredible! That has to be some of the best brisket I've ever tasted! A big thank you to Scott Hilaman from the Real Ale Brewery for joining us for the event. View the pictures of the event. Check out our events page for details of the next planned event!

The members of Texas On Tap were treated to a special evening with guest speaker George Reisch of the Anheuser-Busch brewery in St. Louis. George is a 5th generation family brewer, and has been brewmaster with Anheuser-Busch for the past 29 years. At this event we were treated to a special pairing demonstration of 7 beers with a 3 course dinner from The Ranch in Las Colinas. Thanks to George Reisch for flying in to join us, and to all the staff at The Ranch for all their efforts to help host a great night. View the pictures of the event. Also, a big thank you to the Town of Addison for their joint involvement as we prepared to celebrate with their event as well. View the pictures of the event. In October Texas On Tap hosted an event showcasing some of the world's most famous beers from Belgium. This was a very unique event as everyone was able to sample an incredible lineup of beers side by side. A huge thank you to Prescott from Duvel for his participation. Also, thank you to the Rugby House for preparing an incredible dinner! View the pictures of the event. Check out our events page for details of the next planned event!

Our last event of the year was an opportunity for our most involved members to share some of their favorites with the group. On November 9th we showcased 7 beers with a huge BBQ brisket dinner. Each beer was described by one or two of the members, and included Brooklyn Lager, Fireman's #4, Saint Arnold Elissa IPA, Harpoon UFO Hefe, Franziskaner Hefeweisse, Widmer Drop Top Amber, and Ziegenbock. Thanks to all the members and brewers who were part of our very active and successful year. We will see you again in 2011. View the pictures of the event. Check out our events page for details of the next planned event!

We look forward to sharing a drink with you at our next gathering.
